An oldie but definite hottie. I miss Monte Warden...he never quite made it as a singer, but is a very successful songwriter. Here's to one of my favorite Texas boys.

Just found out about this guy. (I come from the pop end, not the country end.) I've only heard his first solo CD and it's amazingly good.
I'm pleased to hear that if he did not make it as a star performer, he has done well as a songwriter (as he should). THAT is one of the ways country music is better than pop/rock -- the value of a song.
